Tove - A Gentle Touch of Nature

Bring a sense of calm to your home with this hand woven rug, featuring a soft, earthy palette and a timeless geometric motif.

The Tove rug offers a tactile and grounding presence in any room, crafted from Wool and Cotton to provide a warm, inviting feel underfoot. Its low profile makes it a versatile choice for high-traffic areas or spaces where you need a seamless transition between floor and furniture.

Designed with both comfort and practicality in mind, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems. You can enjoy the natural insulation properties of Wool, which helps to absorb sound and create a quieter, more serene atmosphere in your living space.

As a piece from our Core collection, Tove represents a commitment to reliable quality and thoughtful design. The construction ensures it stands up to daily use while maintaining its charm, making it a dependable addition to your home decor.

Originating from India, this rug benefits from centuries of textile tradition. Every detail reflects a focus on longevity and natural beauty, ensuring that it remains a cherished part of your interior for years to come.

The design features a repeating geometric pattern that balances soft, muted shades of green. This rhythmic arrangement creates a sense of order and harmony, making it an easy fit for a variety of interior styles.

A decorative border frames the central motif, adding a touch of classic structure to the overall look. The choice of colours keeps the design feeling fresh and light, perfect for brightening up a room without overwhelming your existing decor.

This rug is carefully hand woven by skilled artisans who bring years of expertise to every piece. The process involves interlacing Wool and Cotton fibres on a traditional loom, a labour-intensive technique that requires precision and patience to achieve a consistent weave.

Creating a hand woven piece of this size is a significant undertaking that can take several days of dedicated work. By choosing this method, we ensure that each rug has a unique character and a sturdy foundation that machine-made alternatives simply cannot replicate.

The human effort involved in the production process is evident in the finished result. This dedication to craft not only results in a more durable product but also supports the continued livelihood of traditional weaving communities in India.
