White rugs

Rugvista’s white rugs come in several shades, so you can match the depth of neutral to the room:

• Natural white rugs: Pure and bright, the coolest of the four – best where you want maximum contrast and light.
• Off-white rugs: A touch softer than pure white, with the faintest warm or grey undertone that hides everyday marks a little better.
• Ivory rugs: A warm, creamy white with more depth – a versatile middle ground between white and cream.
• Cream white rugs: The warmest and richest of the four, for a cosier, more traditional feel.

At Rugvista, we stock a huge range of sizes from small white rugs (length under 160 cm) for compact spaces, to large white rugs (length 230 – 349 cm) for bigger rooms and extra large white rugs (length > 350 cm) for expansive open-plan spaces. Yes – white and off-white reflect more light than dark or richly coloured rugs, which helps a small or dim room feel more open. It’s especially effective in rooms with limited natural light; in a large, already-bright room, a warmer cream or ivory shade can feel just as fresh without showing every mark quite so starkly.

Hoover regularly at a setting suited to the pile height, and blot – rather than rub – any spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth so they don’t set in. Rotate the rug occasionally for even wear, and use an anti-slip underneath to stop it sliding. Beyond a light mark, a specialist rug clean is worth booking for a wool or hand-knotted piece.
