Sigrid - A Journey of Colour Beneath Your Feet

Bring warmth and tactile comfort to your hallway with the hand-woven Sigrid runner, crafted from 100% wool.
Step onto the natural warmth and soft tactile feel of the Sigrid runner, designed to bring a cosy and welcoming atmosphere to your hallway or living space.
Crafted from 100% wool, this piece offers a naturally durable surface that feels comforting underfoot while helping to absorb sound in busy areas of the home.
This rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, allowing warmth to pass through naturally so your floors stay comfortable throughout colder months.
The natural wool fibres help regulate indoor climate by absorbing and releasing moisture naturally.
Produced in India with careful attention to detail, this runner meets the OEKO-TEX standard for safety and carries the Care and Fair certification, ensuring ethical production practices and support for weaver communities.
Place this piece in your hallway or bedroom to add practical comfort and a grounded, considered touch to your daily routine.

Design

The Sigrid runner features a striking geometric layout with repeating horizontal motifs, clean lines, and crisp blocks of colour that draw the eye along the length of the rug.
The pattern combines structured bands and interlocking shapes, creating a balanced composition that feels both playful and orderly.
The colour palette brings together soft blue, warm pink, deep brown, and accents of white and yellow, offering a cheerful yet grounded look that suits modern homes.
The flat-woven texture highlights the clean geometry, making it a versatile choice for adding colour and life to hallways or narrow spaces.
Each Sigrid runner is hand-woven by skilled artisans who use traditional wooden looms to interlace the natural fibres.
This artisanal process requires patience and precision, taking several weeks of dedicated human effort to complete a single piece from start to finish.
The hands-on craft behind this runner ensures a sturdy structure and a distinct flat-woven finish that lays flat against your floor.
By relying on human skill rather than automated machinery, each piece gains subtle character and authentic craftsmanship that mass-produced items simply cannot replicate.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Care & Fair

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Care & Fair

Maintenance

  • To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
  • Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
  • If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
  • Avoid hoovering directly over the fringes, as the suction and brushes can catch the threads and cause damage.
  • Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

  • For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
  • Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
  • As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
  • Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
  • We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
  • Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this
  • Spot clean only.
  • Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
  • We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
  • For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Avoid this
  • Do not wash
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.
