Bring home a vibrant display of comfort with this hand-woven rug, featuring a playful striped pattern that adds warmth and character to any floor.

The Rainbow Stripe rug offers a soft and tactile experience underfoot, making it a welcoming addition to any room in your home. Crafted from 100% cotton, this piece provides a natural feel that is both gentle and durable for everyday living.

Designed with versatility in mind, this rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating, ensuring your space remains cosy and inviting throughout the colder months. Its flat-woven construction provides excellent sound absorption, helping to create a calmer atmosphere in your living area.

This rug is a testament to thoughtful design and functional beauty. The cotton fibres are naturally breathable and easy to maintain, offering a practical solution for busy households that do not want to compromise on style.

By choosing this rug, you are inviting a piece of artistry into your home that has been carefully finished with delicate fringe detailing. It serves as a grounded, colourful foundation that ties together your furniture and decor with ease.

Design

The design of this rug is defined by a rhythmic arrangement of bold, horizontal stripes in a spectrum of colours. This vibrant palette creates a joyful focal point that can easily lift the mood of any interior space.

The varying widths of the stripes add a dynamic, artistic quality to the overall look. Finished with simple fringe at both ends, the design balances a playful energy with clean, linear aesthetics.

Each Rainbow Stripe rug is carefully hand-woven by skilled artisans in India. This traditional technique requires patience and precision, as every line of colour is manually integrated into the base to create a consistent and durable finish.

The creation of this rug involves a significant amount of human effort and time. Artisans spend several days at the loom to ensure the tension is perfect, resulting in a high-quality product that machine-made alternatives simply cannot replicate.

By supporting this hand-woven craft, you are valuing the heritage and skill of the makers. The dedication put into every square metre ensures that you receive a unique piece with subtle variations that celebrate the human touch.

Care & Fair

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Avoid hoovering directly over the fringes, as the suction and brushes can catch the threads and cause damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
To clean the fringes, use a soft brush to get the debris out.
