Design

The design features a stylized tiger head with a friendly and approachable expression. The vibrant pink tones are balanced by bold, expressive lines that define the tiger's features.

With its irregular shape, this rug breaks away from traditional rectangular styles to offer a more organic and decorative look. It is an ideal choice for those looking to inject a bit of colour and fun into their home.

This rug is carefully hand-tufted by skilled artisans, a process that requires precision and patience. By using a tufting gun to insert wool into a cotton foundation, makers create a dense and durable pile that stands the test of time.

The creation of this piece involves significant human effort, with each detail of the tiger motif meticulously shaped by hand. This level of dedication ensures that every rug has its own subtle character and refined finish.

Producing a hand-tufted rug of this complexity is a time-intensive process that can take several days to complete. The expertise involved in the tufting and finishing stages is what gives this rug its distinctive quality and appeal.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shedding is a natural characteristic of wool and table-tufted cotton, and with this rug you can expect some loose fibres throughout its lifetime. It doesn't affect the rug's quality, durability or look. Hoover regularly with gentle suction and without a rotating brush, and brush the surface lightly now and then to lift loose fibres.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
