Marble - The Quiet Rhythm of Nature

Bring a sense of calm to your home with this tactile wool rug featuring flowing organic contours in soft green and earthy tones.
Step onto a surface of natural warmth and comfort with this wool rug, designed to bring a grounding feel to living rooms and bedrooms. The thick pile creates a soft, cushioning feel beneath your feet while helping to absorb sound for a quieter room.
Crafted entirely from 100% wool, this piece offers natural durability and resilience for everyday living. The natural fibres help regulate indoor temperatures and provide a cosy foundation you will enjoy throughout the year.
This rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, allowing warmth to pass through easily so your floors remain comfortable during colder months. It is certified by OEKO-TEX, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances to give you peace of mind.
Produced in India with careful attention to detail, this rug reflects traditional craftsmanship adapted for modern homes. It meets the standards of Care & Fair, supporting better working and living conditions for weavers in the region.

Design

Fluid, organic waves sweep across the surface in a continuous flow, creating a sense of movement reminiscent of natural landscapes or geological strata. The sweeping lines vary in width, building a dynamic visual rhythm that draws the eye across the entire composition without feeling cluttered.
A harmonious palette of muted green, warm beige, charcoal grey, and soft cream works together to create a calm and balanced atmosphere. This versatile combination suits modern interiors seeking a grounded, nature-inspired accent that brings warmth and texture to the floor.
This rug is carefully hand tufted by skilled artisans who shoot loops of wool yarn into a stretched cotton foundation using a specialised hand-held tool. This tactile technique allows for precise detail and creates a dense, plush pile that feels substantial underfoot.
Creating a piece of this scale and detail takes experienced artisans many days of focused work. Every step, from preparing the natural wool to shearing the surface for an even finish, relies on human skill and traditional knowledge passed down through generations.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Care & Fair

Maintenance

  • To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
  • Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
  • If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
  • You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
  • Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

  • For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
  • Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
  • As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
  • Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
  • Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this
  • Spot clean only.
  • Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
  • We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
  • For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Avoid this
  • Do not wash
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.
