Dakota - A Gentle Touch of Calm

Bring a sense of calm to your home with this beautifully woven rug, featuring a crisp zigzag pattern in soothing green and natural white tones.

The Dakota rug offers a tactile and grounding presence in any room, crafted to provide a soft and comforting feel underfoot. Its low profile makes it a versatile choice for various living spaces, while the natural wool fibres provide warmth and subtle sound absorption to create a more peaceful home environment.

Designed with both function and aesthetics in mind, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating, allowing you to enjoy a cosy atmosphere throughout the cooler months. The inclusion of delicate fringe detailing adds a charming, finished touch that highlights the thoughtful design.

This rug is a testament to quality, originating from India where textile craftsmanship is deeply rooted in tradition. Every element is chosen to ensure longevity and comfort, making it a reliable addition to your daily life that stands up well to regular use.

As part of our Core collection, the Dakota represents a balance of simplicity and reliable quality. It is a considered choice for those who value natural materials and a clean, understated look that complements a wide range of interior styles.

The design features a sharp, rhythmic zigzag pattern that runs vertically across the surface, creating a dynamic visual flow. The combination of green and natural white provides a balanced, earthy palette that feels both fresh and calming.

With its clean lines and minimalist approach, the pattern offers a sophisticated focal point without overwhelming the room. The subtle contrast between the colours ensures the rug remains versatile, fitting easily into diverse decor schemes.

The Dakota is expertly hand woven by skilled artisans, a process that requires both patience and precision. By manually interlacing the wool and cotton fibres, the weavers ensure that each rug is crafted with a consistent tension and durable structure.

Creating a rug of this quality is a time-intensive endeavour that reflects the dedication of the maker. Because the process is entirely manual, the artisans invest significant time into every piece, ensuring that the final result is a well-made item that brings authentic character to your home.
