Cuadro - A Gentle Touch of Calm

Bring a sense of quiet harmony to your home with the Cuadro rug. Featuring a soft, tactile weave and a classic checkered pattern, this piece offers a warm and inviting foundation for any living space.

The Cuadro rug is crafted from wool, offering a natural and tactile surface that feels soft underfoot. Its construction provides a comfortable layer of warmth, making it a perfect choice for creating a cosy atmosphere in bedrooms or living areas.

Designed for modern living, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating, allowing you to enjoy both comfort and style throughout the cooler months. The natural wool fibres also offer effective sound-absorbing qualities, helping to create a calmer environment in your home.

This rug features a subtle, light beige and white checkered pattern that adds visual interest without overwhelming your room. The inclusion of delicate fringe at the ends gives it a relaxed, finished look that complements a variety of interior styles.

As part of our Core collection, the Cuadro rug represents a balance of simple design and reliable quality. It is a thoughtful addition to any space where you want to emphasise a sense of comfort and understated elegance.

Design

The design features a soft, light-toned checkered pattern that brings a light and airy feel to your room. The combination of beige and white creates a neutral palette that is easy to integrate into your existing decor.

The weave creates a subtle texture that catches the light gently, adding depth to the checkered motifs. With its simple aesthetic and classic fringe, it serves as a versatile anchor for both minimalist and more relaxed spaces.

The Cuadro rug is hand woven by skilled artisans in India, a process that requires patience and precision. By using traditional hand weaving techniques, each rug is created with care, ensuring a durable and well-made final product.

Crafting a piece of this size involves a significant amount of manual effort and attention to detail. Artisans spend many hours at the loom to achieve the consistent weave and clean lines that define this design, reflecting a commitment to authentic craft.

Because it is handmade, each rug carries the unique touch of its maker. This human element is what gives the Cuadro its character and quality, providing you with a beautiful piece that is built to last.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Avoid hoovering directly over the fringes, as the suction and brushes can catch the threads and cause damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.
