Cosmou - A Vibrant Touch of Colour for Your Floors

Brighten your space with this runner, featuring a playful geometric pattern that brings a cheerful, modern energy to any indoor or outdoor area.

The Cosmou runner brings a lively, artistic flair to your home with its bold pink geometric pattern set against a neutral, natural-toned background. This runner is designed to be as versatile as it is beautiful, making it a perfect choice for hallways, kitchens, or even outdoor patio spaces that need a warm, welcoming touch.

Crafted from durable materials, this rug offers a tactile experience that feels both sturdy and inviting underfoot. Its low profile ensures it sits neatly in high-traffic areas, while the inherent qualities of its construction provide natural resilience to everyday wear and tear.

For your comfort and convenience, this runner is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, ensuring your space stays cosy during cooler months. It is also washable, allowing for easy maintenance and keeping your home environment fresh and clean with minimal effort.

Proudly made in India, this piece reflects a commitment to traditional craft while meeting modern functional needs. Whether placed indoors to brighten a room or outdoors to add character to a deck, this runner is a considered choice for those who value both style and practicality in their living spaces.

Design

The design features a bold, elongated geometric pattern in a striking pink hue that creates a rhythmic flow along the runner. The clean lines and repeating shapes offer a modern aesthetic that balances the organic texture of the base material.

Soft grey accents add a subtle depth to the composition, providing a sophisticated contrast against the lighter background. The overall look is balanced and bright, making it an excellent statement piece for minimalist or contemporary interiors.

This rug is carefully hand woven by skilled artisans in India. The process involves a traditional loom where each thread is interlaced by hand, a method that requires significant focus and patience to ensure the pattern remains perfectly aligned throughout the length of the runner.

Creating a piece of this quality is a time-intensive process that can take several days of dedicated work. By choosing this hand woven runner, you are supporting a craft that values human skill and attention to detail over mass-produced alternatives.

The result of this labour-intensive approach is a unique textile that possesses a natural, authentic character that machine-made rugs simply cannot replicate. Each runner carries the subtle marks of its maker, ensuring that your home is decorated with a piece that is truly one of a kind.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
To maintain the quality of your rug, avoid leaving it damp for a long time without ensuring that it dries completely. This will help protect both the rug and the surface beneath.
Avoid hoovering directly over the fringes, as the suction and brushes can catch the threads and cause damage.
When not in use, store the rug clean and completely dry. Roll it rather than fold it, to avoid creasing, and keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Washing instructions

Do this

Handwash
Line dry with good air circulation all around.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Rinse the rug regularly with a garden hose and, if necessary, use a mild washing-up detergent. Hang the rug or place it off the ground to dry thoroughly.
To clean the fringes, use a soft brush to get the debris out.
