Design

The design features a clean and balanced striped pattern that creates a sense of order and serenity in any room. The interplay between the blue and light blue tones offers a gentle contrast that is both visually appealing and easy to style with existing decor.

With its simple yet effective aesthetic, this runner works well in various settings, from modern hallways to more traditional entryways. The linear arrangement of the stripes provides a subtle directionality that helps to visually extend the length of your space.

This runner is carefully hand-woven by skilled artisans who bring years of experience to every piece. The process involves a traditional loom where the Wool is interlaced with a cotton foundation, a technique that requires significant patience and a steady hand to ensure the stripes remain perfectly aligned and consistent throughout the runner.

The creation of a hand-woven rug of this size is a labour-intensive task that takes several days to complete. Each movement of the shuttle is calculated to maintain the correct tension, resulting in a durable and well-structured product that machine-made alternatives simply cannot replicate.

By choosing a hand-woven runner, you are supporting traditional craft skills and receiving a product that has been made with genuine human effort. The time invested in every stage of production ensures that the final result is not only beautiful but also built to withstand the demands of daily use in your home.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
