Groovy retro vibes

The deep and moody palette sets an almost cinematic ambience for this style. Bold prints and funky patterns paired with earthy, dramatic hues create eye-catching rugs but still evoke a welcoming and homey feeling. The Urban Retro trend is not a flirt with melancholic nostalgia but a confident and expressive declaration of love for the vibrant mid-century look and groovy retro vibes.

Tips from our designers

“Bold patterns and earthy tones dominate this trend. The deep palette of an Urban Retro rug brings warmth and confidence to any room, giving it a groovy, relaxed, yet sophisticated energy. To enhance the retro vibe, pair these rugs with furniture in rich wood tones, leather, or reclaimed materials. Or add statement decor pieces in metal or glass for a contrasting, eclectic retro touch.”
