Long runner rugs for hallways, kitchens and more

Long runner rugs are an essential design element for hallways, corridors, kitchens and other narrow areas that need both visual interest and practical protection. Our collection features a wide selection of runners in various textures, colours and patterns to suit every interior — from traditional elegance to modern minimalism. Whether you’re looking to soften the echo of a tiled hallway or add warmth underfoot in a galley kitchen, our long runners offer the ideal solution.

Why choose a large runner rug?

• Perfect for narrow spaces: Ideal for hallways, staircases and kitchens, long runner rugs create a sense of flow and continuity.
• Adds warmth and comfort: Soft underfoot, large runners add a touch of luxury while reducing noise.
• Protects flooring: Help to prevent scuffs and scratches on hardwood, tile or laminate surfaces.
• Enhances decor: A large runner can tie together your interior design, adding colour, pattern and personality to tight spaces.

What qualifies as a long runner rug?

A long runner rug typically measures over 250 cm in length, with some designs extending up to 400 cm. These are ideal for large hallways, open-plan spaces or connecting long corridors between rooms.

Can I use multiple long runner rugs in the same space?

Yes, using more than one long runner in extended hallways or across multiple adjoining spaces can create visual flow. For a cohesive look, opt for matching or complementary designs and maintain even spacing between rugs.

Can long runners be layered over carpet?

Yes, layering a long runner over carpet can add depth and design interest, especially in neutral spaces. Use rug tape or a gripper pad underneath to prevent movement and help to reduce sliding.
