Its unique irregular shape provides a contemporary focal point that breaks away from traditional rectangular layouts, offering a refreshing aesthetic for your interior space.

Quality and transparency are at the heart of our craft. This rug is produced with attention to detail to ensure that every fibre contributes to its long-lasting beauty and performance. You can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with a well-made home textile designed to be a centrepiece for years to come.

Design

The design features a captivating, rhythmic pattern that plays with bold geometric shapes to create a sense of movement. The stark contrast between the black and brown tones highlights the intricate maze-like motifs, making the rug a true statement piece.

Its irregular silhouette adds an organic, artistic quality to the room, moving away from rigid lines to embrace a more fluid and creative aesthetic. This design is ideal for those looking to add character and a modern, graphic sensibility to their floor space.

This rug is created through a meticulous hand-tufted process, where skilled artisans carefully work to bring the complex pattern to life. The technique involves punching Wool yarn into a foundation, a labour-intensive method that requires precision and a steady hand to achieve the desired density and texture.

The creation of such a distinctive piece involves significant human effort, with experienced craftspeople spending many hours on each individual rug. By manually guiding the tufting tool, the makers ensure that every curve of the irregular shape and every segment of the pattern is executed with care.

Originating from India, a country with a rich heritage in textile craftsmanship, this rug benefits from deep-rooted expertise in rug making. This traditional skill set is applied to a modern design, resulting in a premium product that honours the time and dedication invested by the artisans during its production.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
