Sustainability

Better rugs, better choices

At Rugvista, we believe that beautiful rugs shouldn’t come at the expense of people or the planet. That’s why we work to reduce our environmental impact, promote fair working conditions, and design for long-term use. With trusted certifications and a clear circular strategy, we make it easier for you to make more sustainable choices.

Partnership, frameworks, and certifications

To ensure responsible production, we work with globally recognized frameworks and thirdparty initiatives. These partnerships help us monitor working conditions, improve, transparency, and choose better materials. You’ll find specific certifications listed on each product page.

Circular design

We’re working towards a circular future where resources are kept in use for as long as possible. Many of our rugs fall into one or more of these circular categories:

Recycled

Made with GRS- or RCS-certified recycled materials. The percentage is always clearly stated.

Recyclable

Designed for fiber-to-fiber recycling, using single-material compositions for easier processing.

Reused

Carefully restored and repaired rugs, celebrating traditional craftsmanship while giving existing rugs a second life.
